Diving with Nitrox enriched air gives you more bottom time before reaching the NO decompression limit, especially on successive dives. 1 Online Nitrox Level 1 Course (up to 32% Nitrox)
Start your Nitrox course in Lanzarote now (you don’t need to be in Lanzarote, but you will do it with your Atlantis Lanzarote instructors) with the online theory in the SSI App or on the SSI website. Once you have finished the theory, start your virtual classes with your instructor through the ZOOM platform. Atlantis offers you more than anyone else, 1 class of about 3 hours to thoroughly master the use of Nitrox. And once we have reviewed all of the theory, you can take the online exam and get certified directly.
You will receive SSI Enriched Air Nitrox up to 32% certification after completing this program.

2 Nitrox Level 2 Course (up to 40% Nitrox) – 2 dives
Start your Nitrox course in Lanzarote now with online theory with SSI. Once you have finished the theory, start your virtual classes with your instructor through the ZOOM platform. Atlantis offers you 1 2-hour class to fully master the use of Nitrox. And once we have reviewed all the theory, you can take the online exam.
The Nitrox Enriched Air program will teach you the benefits of diving with nitrox-enriched air, and how to plan and safely dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. You will receive the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox up to 40% certification after completing this program.
PRACTICAL
When you come to Lanzarote we will do the 2 dives with Nitrox. We will be happy to put into practice all that knowledge we learned online!
3 Decompression Diving: Try DECO and gas change
SSI’s Decompression Diving speciality will teach you in 3 days to dive beyond the limits without decompression. You will learn to plan and perform dives to a maximum depth of 40 metres with decompression limited to 15 minutes using recreational diving equipment and a single decompression tank up to 40% Nitrox.
Additionally, you will know how to effectively use the dive computer’s functions, including gas switching, gas integration, time to reserve, and time to surface.
Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Decompression Diving speciality certification and be able to explore deeper dive sites or larger wrecks without the restriction of traditional no-decompression limits, multiplying your adventure possibilities.

4 XR Nitrox: Extend your range and your limits
The SSI XR Nitrox course introduces you to the techniques and skills of Extended Range training and can be performed using a standard single-tank equipment setup, with your own recreational equipment. And it is the gateway to technical courses, which if you like them, you can continue advancing afterwards.
A magnificent program where you will learn to plan your decompression dives, and you will be able to enjoy “a little more” time down there.

Not included:
- Candidate’s diving equipment
The course lasts 4 full days. We always reserve a fifth day in case we have to make up an exam or repeat a dive.
Planning:
- Day 1: Theory Review, V-Planner and Diving Equipment Assembly Workshop. Final exam
- Day 2: Confined water immersion in a heated indoor pool (minimum 2 hours) and 1 dive with decompression drills (from shore)
- Day 3: Two real decompression dives with GASDECO EAN 32% (from the boat)
- Day 4: Two dives with real decompressions with GASDECO EAN 50% (from the boat). Delivery of Titles and Diplomas.
