SSI Marine Mammals Course
Are you passionate about saving the ocean and the marine animals that live in it? Are you fascinated by the idea of diving with whales? Would you like to learn more about the ecology, biology and conservation of marine mammals?
SSI’s Mammal Ecology program introduces you to these amazing creatures. Immerse yourself in the world of whales, dolphins and seals to discover this incredibly diverse group of marine animals.
During the program you will learn what differentiates marine mammals from terrestrial mammals, you will discover where they live, you will explore their physiology and you will know how to identify several species. You’ll also learn about marine mammal conservation, a great way to help save the oceans.

SSI Shark Ecology Course
In SSI’s Shark Ecology program you will not only learn how to dive among sharks, how to interact with them under the sea, how to interpret their behavior and why they are often misunderstood.
This program is perfect for both shark lovers and divers who want to overcome their fear of these big fish.
Upon completion of the program, you will earn your SSI Shark Ecology specialty certification and will undoubtedly become a professional shark diver.

SSI Marine Turtle Ecology
Did you know that there are only 7 species of sea turtles? Sea turtles are one of the most wonderful animals to dive with. After completing SSI’s Sea Turtle Ecology program, you’ll be even more eager to dive among turtles. This specialty program teaches you the skills and concepts you need to identify common turtle species. In addition, you will learn about their history and the role they play in marine ecosystems, as well as the threats they face to survive. Upon completion, you will earn SSI Sea Turtle Ecology speciality certification.

SSI Manta & Ray Ecology

SSI Coral Identification
